Anko, Torrontes, Salta, Argentina

Anko, in the language of the indigenous people of Salta, in northern Argentina, means 'water in height. Made from vines over 40 years old, cultivated under pergolas at an altitude of over 1,500 meters, its aromatic power is impressive, beginning with floral notes that are soon joined by ripe white fruits and a mineral touch typical of its rocky and inhospitable terroir. On the palate, it is rich, unctuous, with good acidity and a touch of saline. Its finish is clean and distinctive,

Rose' and Orange

Discover something new and delicious!

Colliano, Orange, Blend, Goriska Brda, Slovenia

Varieties: 35% Ribolla Gialla (sl. Rebula), 30% Sauvignonasse, 30% Pinot Grigio and 5% Malvasia. Colour: Light copper with amber shades. Aroma: Quince, peach, apricot, hints of thyme. Taste: Distinct minerality, citrus, and thyme. Gentle and sweet tannins with long, fresh, and lasting aftertaste rounded with roasted almonds. Our story begins in 1957 when 400 families came together to create the winery Klet Brda. This was after WW2, when the capital investment was non-existent, so those families banded together to build something special and protect the vineyards that were their inheritances and their legacies. Today, the next generations have taken up the mantel of preserving the vineyards and making the world class wines that are found in many of the Michelin Star restaurants in Slovenia.

Colette, Beaujolais Village, Cote de Colette, France 2023

Domaine de Colette is located in the small village of Lantignié, regarded as the top village in the cru of Regnié, and less than 1 kilometer from the border of Morgon. The grapes come from steep pink granite vineyards with an average age of 45 years—but one of the plots, called Colette, is 80 years old. The grapes undergo carbonic maceration followed by a gentle pressing. A pleasant ruby-red color, this wine presents small red fruit aromas and flavors in its youth, but over time these evolve into surprisingly complex ripe, even jammy, fruit flavors. Excellent companion to charcuterie, red meat or local cheeses.

Orlegi de Luberri, Tempranillo, Rioja, Spain, 2024

Florentino Martinez Monje, owner and winemaker, has long used a non-interventionalist approach to his vineyards. He prefers the fruit to grow naturally in accordance with the microclimate in Elciego, a town within Rioja Alavesa. He keeps yields low, utilizes whole-cluster fermentation for some of the grapes, uses indigenous yeasts, and ensures that the fruit is concentrated and healthy. The result? Lots of juicy dark red fruit with light acidity and pops of spice. In other words, a young classic Tempranillo that is food friendly and perfect for everyday drinking.
