Weingut Dolomiten, Muller Thurgau, Trentino/Alto-Adige, Italy

The Müller-Thurgau grape is the daughter of Riesling, and this beautifully executed Garlider has inherited her delicate aromatics and crisp, refreshing nature. Subtle fruits such as underripe peach and melon, green apple, and lemon grace the nose, followed by gentle notes of grass, hay, and aromatic flowers. It is a crisp, saline, savory wine, yet it has a roundness on the palate reminiscent of a Pinot Grigio or Muscadet.

Situated on the historic boundary between Italy and Austria, the two autonomous regions were returned to Italy after World War I (hence why they are often lumped together). Alto-Adige retains great pride in its Germanic heritage, evidenced by the dual language bottle labels appearing in the region. Alto-Adige is most famous for its crisp and minerally whites

Felix, Blaufrankisch, Burgenland, Austria

LTR Bottle. 100% Blaufrankisch
A wine for weeknight dinners and sipping with friends. Made for us from Stefan Wellanschitz's (of Kolfok fame) family estate. It is Blaufrankisch from 15-45 year old vineyards in Unterpetersdorf in the Neckenmarkter mountains where his Mother is from. The soils are clay and basalt which imparts a wonderful minerality. Everything about it speaks to the tradition and where they are from, from the family vineyards to the used large 1500-3000 liter barrels made by a local cooper from trees in the Waldviertal used vintage after vintage. Only native yeasts are used, no fining and minimal amounts of sulphur. The Felix Blau is a wine we are absolutely delighted to have and enjoy here in the U.S. for the first time. intense red and black fruit flavors of red cherry, redcurrant, plum and blackberry, along with the spiciness of black pepper.

Colliano, Orange, Blend, Goriska Brda, Slovenia

Varieties: 35% Ribolla Gialla (sl. Rebula), 30% Sauvignonasse, 30% Pinot Grigio
and 5% Malvasia.

Colour: Light copper with amber shades.

Aroma: Quince, peach, apricot, hints of thyme.

Taste: Distinct minerality, citrus, and thyme. Gentle and sweet tannins with long, fresh, and lasting aftertaste rounded with roasted almonds.

Our story begins in 1957 when 400 families came together to create the winery Klet Brda. This was after WW2, when the capital investment was non-existent, so those families banded together to build something special and protect the vineyards that were their inheritances and their legacies. Today, the next generations have taken up the mantel of preserving the vineyards and making the world class wines that are found in many of the Michelin Star restaurants in Slovenia.

Candialle Azienda Agricola, Ciclope, Toscano Rosso, Italy, 2013

A rare red blend from husband and wife, organic farmers, and winemaking team Jarkko and Josephin Peranen. This earthy and elegant wine is primarily Merlot and Sangiovese with a bit of Syrah and Petit Verdot. While this may sound like a rich and potentially tannic combination, in their hands, with their hand-tended, high-altitude vines, it is a lithe, food-appropriate, deliciously drinkable wine. True to all of their wines, the Ciclope has been held until it shows its absolute best. Named after their dog, who lost an eye in an unfortunate tussle with a Tuscan porcupine, it is a unique bottling demonstrating the finesse Jarkko and Josephin are known for.

A new wine made for us! Stefan Wellanschitz (of Kolfok fame) brings us a blend of Rotburger and Blaufrankisch. The Blaufrankisch comes from the town where Stefan grew up, vines range from 10-35 years old grown in iron rich soils. Finca Ladeira Mencía is a red wine made from 100% Mencía grapes by the Finca Cuarta Winery in Ribeira Sacra, Spain. The grapes come from vineyards in the Miño and Cabe river basins, which are difficult to access, making the wine more exclusive.
Mencía is a red wine grape variety that originated in the northwest of Spain, particularly in the Bierzo and Galicia regions. It's known for being versatile and producing elegant and complex wines. Mencía wines are often light to medium-bodied with moderate tannins. Some say that Mencía wines age well and have rich aromas, similar to Pinot Noir and other aromatic reds.

Embolden, Dark As Day, Horchata, Golden Milk Stout

Dark as Day is a special collaboration with our friends from SouthNorte Brewing Company. Known for their cross border/cross culture specialty beers - we wanted to brew something unique for their beer fans as well as open our portfolio to new styles. We made larges batches of horchata and added them to a golden stout base during the brewing process then added Mexican cold brew with cinnamon from Trident Coffee Roasters. The end result is a beer that bursts with cinnamon and notes of coffees and an extremely smooth mouthfeel!
