Pajzos, Furmint, Tokaj, Hungary 2023

From the beginning, Pazjos winemaking has stressed the importance of a great dry base-wine made from the particularly aromatic Furmint grapes for the production of the Aszu bottlings of the vintage. The estate’s volcanic, rocky soils ensure that Pazjos’ Furmint grapes are both rich in natural acidity and concentration. The wine is aged in tanks and bottled in the spring following the harvest. The bright, fresh and zesty flavors range from grapefruit to apricot with notes of nuts, minerals, and spice. The Furmint has aspects that remind one of Viognier, Pinot Gris, and Sauvignon Blanc, yet it is a unique wine

Vorspannhof Mayr, Grüner Veltliner, Niederösterreich, Austria, 2023

100% Grüner Veltliner, grown in loess soils. Just over half of the grapes for this wine come from Silke's family's vineyards; the rest are sourced from neighboring growers in Krems and Dross. This is bottled and made in the shared Buchegger-Mayr winery. Full-bunch pressing; fermented in stainless steel at cool temperatures, aged on the lees in tank until February of the following year. This is a straightforward, spicy Grüner; light in body and fruit-driven, this is a stellar white "table wine", able to pair well with just about anything white wine goes with.

Weingut Fürst, Elbling, Mosel, Germany 2025

Elbling is enjoying a small renaissance among German importers these days... but we’ve had this grape in our back pocket for years. A great old Germanic wine grape with a long history traceable to imperial Roman times, it was Germany's most cultivated variety until the early 20th century. Today its range is limited to the cool, steep banks of the Obermosel (southern Mosel) river valley and neighboring Luxembourg—where the Mosel discreetly becomes the Moselle. Light bodied, low alcohol, and dry as a vodka martini, Elbling is like a Teutonic answer to Muscadet. It's perfect for chilled oysters, river fish, and light summery fare like salads, raw foods, fresh greens and grains. Inexplicably, it has remained unsung outside its local borders…. until now. Fürst Elbling Trocken is jazzy and expressive, true to the variety and exciting to drink with just 10.5% alcohol and a rapier-like 7.5g acidity. Dressed elegantly in a black and white LITER BOTTLE (designed by Michael Furst's sister), it’s the quintessential summer party drink and a no-brainer by the glass.

Amber & Rosé

Discover something new and delicious!

Askaneli, True Vine, Rkatsiteli Amber, en Qvevri, Georgia

Toast for God. This is the first of six toasts, dedicated to the highest honor — the Divine. We present The True Vine, crafted in the same way as the first wines were made, in qvevri, just as it was 8,000 years ago. Named after the words of Jesus in John 15, where He refers to Himself as the True Vine, this wine is a tribute to the sacred connection between earth and heaven. In Georgian tradition, the first toast is always for God — the source of all creation and blessings. As you savor this wine, let it be a moment of reflection and gratitude, celebrating the divine presence that guides us and inspires us to live with compassion and kindness. Here’s to the eternal force that unites us — Gaumarjos!

Queue de Pressoir, Rouge, Cahors, France 2022

"Queue de Pressoir" highlights the obscure Ségalin grape, a nearly- forgotten variety indigenous to Cahors, known for its tannic, rustic character. It is vinified in an almost rosé-like fashion; lightly extracted, thus allowing the more delicate elements of the grape to come through. Combined with 30% "end of press" malbec from Benoit's 'Polisson' rosé, this is easy drinking, off-the-beaten-path, low tannin red wine with bright bursts of ripe red berries (strawberry/raspberry) 70/30 Segalin/Malbec
